Happy March 2019!!    It is Time for the 2019 Belize Mission Trip!

The FPCA Belize Mission Team is busy with final week preparations for this year's mission trip. This year, we will depart Dallas Love Field on Monday, March 11th and return very late on Sunday, March 17th.  As in the past, we plan are partnering with The Word at Work and Youth Enhancement Services (YES) for the week.  We will be at the YES Training Center in Lord's Bank outside of Belize City for the week. The team consists of 8 people - 4 adults and 4 youth.  This year we have one new team member and seven returning team members. :-)

We will have worship, games and planned activities with teen girls during the week. This year we plan to discuss what it means to be made in the image of God and how we want to reflect His love to the world through our actions and deeds.  We plan some discussions surrounding presenting our selves as children of God including the images we place on social media. Look for our posts on Facebook - we would ask that you share to your friends - we want to demonstrate how quickly a post can spread!

Please pray for renewed friendships, new friendships, fellowship, and learning with the students and staff at YES. Also pray that the students will be open to seeing how much Jesus loves them.

In addition to our relational ministry with the girls and staff at YES, we also expect to tackle painting an area around the school/training center.  Many of you may remember the new siding we placed on one of the classroom buildings last year (see pictures below). We will not know the exact project until we arrive in Belize, but it is very likely that we will be painting the building this year!!  This is a fairly large project for 3 days and 8 people. Please pray that the team will have the energy to complete the painting project.  We are going to ask the students if they want to join us in the afternoons! 😊

The Belize Mission Team thanks everyone for their prayers and support. Without YOU these mission trips would not be possible.
